Handball City, USA is a documentary about the grassroots efforts of a little-known sports team in an underdog city during one of the craziest times in modern history. Beginning with its founding in 2019, the film follows the journey of the Detroit Handball Club, one of only a few team handball clubs in the United States, during its first years as it works to grow the sport in the city of Detroit despite numerous setbacks.
